Second edition of the New Dutch Cinema Review in Warsaw

Organised by Kino Muranów, SEE NL and the Dutch embassy in Poland, the ‘review’ gives an insight in the recent releases of the Dutch film industry.

The programme includes features and shorts, most of which are premiering in Poland. It will take place from October 26th till October 29th in Warsaw.


Silver Haze

New Dutch Cinema Review kicks off on the 27th with a screening of Sasha Polak’s feature Silver Haze** produced by Viking Film. See NL's Geoffrey Macnab did an interview with Sacha Polak about her film earlier this year. 

The features that complete the line-up are: 
Along the Way by Mijke de Jong on October 27th at 18:00 hrs, accompanied by graduation short The Debit Card by Thijs Bouman. 
Shabu by Shamira Raphaela on October 28th at 18:00 hrs, preceded by Imanigings by Anja Hiddinga. 
Pink Moon
** by Floor van der Meulen on October 28th at 20:00 hrs with Spotless by Emma Branderhorst. 
Nr 10.** By Alex van Warmerdam on October 29th at 20:00 hrs.

An extra bonus this year will be the screening of the recent digitalization of the Oscar® winning film Character by Mike van Diem on October 29th at 18:00 hrs. The screenings are introduced by cultural critic Kuba Demianczuk. All films wille be screened with Polish subtitles
