Punta de Vista, the International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra, which starts Monday 24 February kicks of the first ever retrospective of the works of Frans van de Staak outside the Netherlands. The films will tour 4 cities in Spain until the end of April.
The programme "Frans van de Staak. The Word as Archipelago" consists of eleven titles in five programmes and one special screening of Sepio as part of the closing ceremony.

At the crossroads of narrative cinema, experimental poetry, avant-garde theater, visual arts, improvised music, and the philosophy of language, Frans van de Staak (Amsterdam, 1943–2001) holds a unique place in the history of cinema.
