Three decades on, Amsterdam’s famed canals once more become a crime scene as a series of new murders terrify the city.

With veteran Dutch actor Huub Stapel reprising his role as Detective Eric Visser, Amsterdam suffers a new wave of murders, more gruesome and unsettling than before and bearing the unmistakable mark of the killer famed for his crimes in the 80’s. It soon becomes apparent, however, that this killer may be more than human, wielding unearthly powers that defy explanation. Eric and fellow detective Tara Lee must summon all their courage and ingenuity in their fight against an evil that threatens them and the city itself.
