At a summer camp for children with cancer, 11-year-old Lotte finds support and friendship from peers who understand her, as she tries to forget her daily worries and find the balance between fun and the challenges of her disease.
11-year-old Lotte was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, and since then her life has been dominated by hospitals, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. It turned her world completely upside down. Now Lotte is at the start of a special week, she is going to a summer camp especially for children like her. Here she hopes to finally be able to be 'just Lotte' again and enjoy the camp carefree. But how do you put all your worries aside when you are confronted with your illness every day?
