Sheffield DocFest Selections

Sheffield International Documentary Festival is running from June 12 to 17

Three Dutch docs and two VR's are on their way to Sheffield to join their DocFest this year.


Still: Where Dragons Live - Suzanne Raes

World premiering in the Memories Programme strand is Suzanne Raes Where Dragons Live**. An imaginative and intimate portrayal of an eccentric family coming to terms with the loss of their parents, childhood and family home. The feature doc is produced by Docmakers, sales are handled by Film Harbour. SEE NL spoke to Raes about her film before the festival.

Two Dutch films are part of the Shorts programme strand: first up is Beyond Words by Kim Brand, which is celebrating its world premiere. Secondly, Letters to Vincent by Hannah van Tassel, having an international premiere at the DocFest.
