A love story between filmmaker Jeroen Kooijmans and his wife Elspeth Diederix. Jeroen has been dealing with depression and psychoses, of which he is ashamed. He tries to overcome his demons through his work as an artist, but they keep returning to haunt him. The film consists of Jeroen’s video archive and diaries from the past 30 years, the same period that Jeroen and Elspeth have been in a relationship. A personal, authentic and at the same time universal story, told in poetic visual language.
