Human rights lawyer Liesbeth Zegveld: 'The beginning of a case always seems hopeless, but that is no reason not to start’.
In the spring of 1977, a group of young South Moluccans hijacks a train in De Punt in the north of the Netherlands. During the rescue operation six hijackers are killed. In 2014, two of the hijackers’ families sue the Dutch state. According to their lawyer Liesbeth Zegveld, they were deliberately shot dead even after the threat had been eliminated. The documentary raises the question of how transparent the Dutch state is about the use of deadly state violence.
