Just a week before taping the Christmas Special of Dutch TV show All You Need Is Love, presenter Maarten (Dr. Love) quits his job. As he takes off for the Scottish Highlands, leaving his colleagues in disarray, we follow the lives of the ordinary and not so ordinary people connected to the show and see how each struggles with the most beautiful thing in life: love. Will assistant Japie and his colleagues be able to mend broken hearts and reunite parted lovers without Dr. Love?
