Between Yemen and the Netherlands, the film traces what happens when long-held memories are disturbed.
Imagine Me Like a Country of Love is a fragmented, poetic short film about memory, belonging, and the return to a place reshaped by conflict. Shot between Yemen and the Netherlands, the film contemplates what happens when we disturb the memories we left behind. Through archival photographs, everyday footage, and intimate voice recordings, it offers a quiet reflection on grief, absence, and the contradictions of remembering.
