ANCESTORS is an interactive group experience where the future speaks back. Guided by their own phones, participants meet their descendants and reflect on what we pass on — and who we are beyond the boundaries of our own time.

What if the future could speak — to us, here and now? In ANCESTORS, that’s exactly what happens. Nouralith, born in 2225, is the descendant of the choices we make today. She is the echo of who we are, and who we choose to become. Instead of pointing fingers, she places a hand on our shoulder and says: take good care of me. Because there is no later. Only now. ANCESTORS is an interactive group experience by the Smartphone Orchestra, guided by the audience’s own smartphones. In a collective journey full of technology, imagination, and connection, we reflect on intergenerational responsibility. What do we pass on? And who are we, beyond the boundaries of our own time?
