As Anne prepares her departure from Amsterdam to live abroad with her great love Sara, her publisher rejects the manuscript for her first novel. Which story is she trying to tell? Does she even have a story to tell at all? Anne is forced to find out what she wants in life…because it’s not only the main character in her novel who seems to be lost. Then she meets Lou, a non-binary drag king, who has a very different view on life. While rewriting the book Anne realizes that she has some significant choices to make.
