With the escalation of Russia’s war on Ukraine, the unbreakable bond of a vibrant cheerleading team of 50+ women called Nice Ladies is challenged by the impossible choices to be made between motherland and grandmotherhood, between staying and leaving. Torn apart and plagued by survivor’s guilt, vigorous Sveta manages to flee with her family to the Netherlands, while team captain Valia and coach Nadia stay behind in repeatedly bombed Kharkiv. Will the team be able to reunite and save their sisterhood?
